As a Hardware Production Engineer at XELA Robotics, your primary responsibilities will include:

Production of Tactile Sensors: Engaging in hands-on production tasks, including assembly and quality control, to meet specific design and functional requirements.

‍

Integration for Robot Hands and Grippers: Focus on embedding our tactile sensors into robotic systems like the Allegro Hand and Hand-E gripper.

Quality Control: Implementing rigorous quality control measures to maintain product excellence and resolving any issues in collaboration with the hardware team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience in cable crimping, soldering, and using various adhesives.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and communicate technical issues clearly.

• Experience in tactile sensor production or similar high-precision manufacturing.
• Familiarity with industrial quality control standards and practices.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new challenges.
